Seoul, South Korea: K-pop global sensation BTS is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback this year. Fans, known as ARMY, have been eagerly awaiting news of the band’s next album, and the wait is finally over. The group will release their new album as a full seven-member lineup on March 20, 2026, marking their first full-group release since 2022.

In a special gesture, BTS sent handwritten letters to fans, sharing messages of gratitude and excitement. The members expressed their anticipation for reconnecting with fans and promised to create new memories in 2026.

Those who did not receive the letters will have access to the messages on the fan platform Weverse later this month. Following the album release, BTS plans to embark on a world tour, with further details to be announced by their agency, BigHit Music.

Formed in 2010, BTS- also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or Bangtan Boys- comprises Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Originally focused on hip-hop, the band has expanded its music to address themes such as mental health, self-love, school struggles, and personal growth.

They debuted in 2013 under BigHit Entertainment with the single album 2 Cool 4 Skool and have since released multiple Korean and Japanese albums, including Dark & Wild, Wake Up, and Wings, the latter being their first to sell over one million copies in South Korea.

BTS broke into the global market by 2017, leading the Korean Wave in the United States and becoming the first Korean group to receive Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for the single Mic Drop.

Over the years, the band has delivered a string of hits, including Fake Love, Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance, ON, IDOL, Euphoria, Spring Day, Blood Sweat & Tears, Boy With Luv, and more.
