Seoul, South Korea: K-pop global sensation BTS is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback this year. Fans, known as ARMY, have been eagerly awaiting news of the band’s next album, and the wait is finally over. The group will release their new album as a full seven-member lineup on March 20, 2026, marking their first full-group release since 2022.
In a special gesture, BTS sent handwritten letters to fans, sharing messages of gratitude and excitement. The members expressed their anticipation for reconnecting with fans and promised to create new memories in 2026.
Those who did not receive the letters will have access to the messages on the fan platform Weverse later this month. Following the album release, BTS plans to embark on a world tour, with further details to be announced by their agency, BigHit Music.
Formed in 2010, BTS- also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or Bangtan Boys- comprises Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. Originally focused on hip-hop, the band has expanded its music to address themes such as mental health, self-love, school struggles, and personal growth.
