Seven Pillars of Cooperation
At the heart of the Delhi Declaration are seven core pillars that will shape global collaboration on AI. These include democratizing access to AI resources, promoting economic growth and social good, ensuring secure and trusted AI systems, advancing AI-driven scientific research, expanding access for social empowerment, developing human capital, and building resilient, efficient, and innovative AI systems.
Discussions at the summit focused on preparing the global workforce for the AI era, widening access to technology for underserved communities, strengthening trust and security in AI systems, and improving energy efficiency in AI infrastructure. Delegates also highlighted the growing role of AI in scientific research and international collaboration.
Focus on access and affordability
A central theme of the declaration is making AI resources accessible and affordable, particularly for developing countries. The aim is to ensure that nations at different stages of technological development can adopt and deploy AI tools for the benefit of their citizens.
