Germany: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ended their long wait for European glory spectacularly, thrashing Inter Milan 5-0 in the UEFA Champions League final to claim their maiden title and register the biggest winning margin in the competition’s final history.
Teenage midfielder Dsir Dou stole the show with a sensational brace, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and substitute Senny Mayulu added to the tally in a one-sided contest.
The emphatic win saw PSG become only the second French club after Olympique de Marseille in 1993 to lift the prestigious trophy. From the outset, PSG seized control of the match, pressing high and dominating the midfield. Inter, under coach Simone Inzaghi, opted for a deep defensive approach but was quickly overrun by the pace and precision of the French side.
The breakthrough came in the seventh minute when Vitinha unlocked Inter’s backline with a defense-splitting pass to Dou, who squared the ball for Hakimi to slot home.
Thirteen minutes later, PSG doubled their advantage. After a corner was salvaged by Pacho, Ousmane Dembélé found Dou near the edge of the box. Dou’s shot took a deflection off Federico Dimarco and found the back of the net, making it 2-0.

PSG continued to dominate after the break, with Inter failing to create any meaningful chances. In the 63rd minute, Dembélé produced a clever flick to Vitinha, who surged through the heart of Inter’s midfield before setting up Dou for his second goal of the night.
Kvaratskhelia added the fourth goal in the 73rd minute with a clinical finish, and substitute Senny Mayulu rounded off the historic win in the 86th minute, capping a performance that will go down as one of the most dominant in Champions League final history.
The result marks a landmark moment for PSG, who had long pursued European success through years of high-profile signings and structural investments. With this win, they have finally delivered on their continental ambitions.
“This is the culmination of everything we’ve worked for. To win in this manner, against such an opponent, is incredibly special,” PSG manager Luis Enrique said post-match.
