Italy: Jannik Sinner kept his ATP Finals title with a strong 7-6(4) 7-5 win over world number one Carlos Alcaraz in Turin. The Italian star was pushed hard but stayed calm in the key moments to finish his best season yet on a high.
The home crowd cheered Sinner throughout the match. When he broke Alcaraz in the final game, he fell to the court in joy before celebrating with his team. He thanked the fans, saying it felt amazing to finish the season in front of them.
Both players entered the final unbeaten, and their clash lived up to expectations. Alcaraz had the only break point of the first set, but Sinner held firm and won the tiebreak with sharp play.
Alcaraz had already secured the year-end number one spot, but Sinner took the final win of the season. The Italian reached all four Grand Slam finals this year and won the Australian Open and Wimbledon. Alcaraz won the French Open and US Open, beating Sinner in both.

The final had tense moments. Play stopped for 10 minutes due to a medical issue in the stands, but Sinner stayed focused. He also saved a set point at 6-5 before taking the first set.
Alcaraz broke early in the second set after Sinner hit two double faults, but Sinner fought back to level the score and kept the pressure on. He used his experience and steady nerves to close out the match.
Sinner has been unbeatable indoors this season, winning 30 straight matches on hard courts. Despite losing most of his recent finals against Alcaraz, he did not let this one slip. His win in Turin also earned him a record prize of $5.07 million.
