Manama: India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and discussed ways to further strengthen the longstanding partnership between India and Bahrain during the second leg of his four-nation visit to the Gulf.

During the visit, Dr. Jaishankar also called on Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Dr. Jaishankar separately held delegation-level talks with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, in Manama.

The two ministers reviewed the progress of bilateral relations and explored ways to deepen cooperation across a range of sectors while also discussing the evolving regional situation.
