Sydney: The global rise of Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh shows no signs of slowing down. The singer and actor made history by becoming the first Indian artist to completely sell out a stadium show in Sydney.

The concert, held at a packed stadium with over 30,000 fans, saw tickets sell out days in advance, some fetching prices as high as $800. From the moment Dosanjh took the stage, the crowd erupted into a sea of flags, cheers, and sing-alongs, transforming the venue into a celebration of Punjabi pride and global unity.

The concert featured many of Dosanjh’s chart-topping hits, with fans singing along to every line. One of the highlights came when a fan and his family arrived dressed in a recreation of Dosanjh’s viral Met Gala 2025 look.

The heartwarming gesture drew loud applause from the audience, and in a touching moment, the artist invited the children from the family on stage to join him, earning cheers from the crowd.

The Sydney concert follows the release of Dosanjh’s new album ‘Aura’, which has quickly climbed global music charts. The record includes the soulful track ‘Kufar’, a collaboration with actor Manushi Chhillar, and the popular Gen Z anthem ‘You and Me.’ Other fan favourites, including ‘Charmer’ featuring Sanya Malhotra, have also been trending across digital platforms.
